The deep, perfectly formed amethyst geode is distinguished by a fabulous and extremely rare geological formation: exactly in the center rise two parallel, massive amethyst stalactite columns, the front one crowned with a flawless, cubic white to transparent calcite crystal.

The contrast between the deep purple, intensely sparkling amethyst crystals of the geode bed and the geometric, light calcite crystal in the center is of unprecedented aesthetic class. The object has been hand-polished and finished with the utmost precision at the front edge and base to accentuate the clean contours and the layered agate rim, allowing the three-dimensional depth to be fully appreciated in any lighting.
